I work with adults of all ages living with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationship problems, and life transitions related to aging and older adulthood. My belief is that when people move towards approaching their painful experiences with compassion and curiosity it allows space for making meaningful changes in their lives.
In our work together, you will be provided with a supportive environment that honors safety, acceptance, and compassion. Collaboratively, we will explore healthy strategies for dealing with stress that are consistent with your goals and values.
My treatment approach is based on the unique needs of each individual, and is informed by evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), life review therapy, and Psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches.
